Stave wooden puzzle "All Creatures Great and Small" 260 Pieces Limited Edition. This puzzle is hand painted and a limited edition #20 of 100. It is not currently offered by Stave. We rescue and recondition puzzles by assembling to ensure complete. We especially love Stave puzzles and collect them when we can and sometimes resell them so we can get some more. At least 21 silhouette pieces are involved in this puzzle and 4 of them are personalized; "Happy Birthday", "1983", and a First and Last name. There are 10 more silhouetted pieces which are inserted into holes and stand vertically. This puzzle also incorporates negative space to feature designs in the puzzle itself and make more of a challenge; the zebra is especially tricky. The coloring of this puzzle is interesting in that it appears splotchy, but it is likely intentional as it often lings up with the cuts of the pieces and makes the puzzle even more of a challenge. We only mention because we can't confirm and it is possible there is some fading or discoloration, mainly of the brown coloring, due to age and display. Box has a little shelf wear.
