Vintage Mid Century Antonio Vitali Wood Jigsaw Puzzle Animal Stick Figure Theme

  
Antonio Vitali (19092008) was a Swiss toy designer and maker known for creating handmade wooden toys. In addition to his own workshop in Zurich, Switzerland, he also had a long relationship as toy designer with the U. This item consists of 25 puzzle pieces, all are made of wood, 15 of which are natural wood colour and are background of the puzzle. The remaining pieces are various animals and two stick figures, coloured in orange yellow and green. The box has dovetail design with a pull out cover to reveal the puzzle.

The name Vitali is stamped on the inside of the box. The box measures 12 long x 9.5 wide x 1.25 high. There are numbers on the back of every piece which would suggest that to somebody hand wrote those numbers most likely to assist in making the puzzles. Those are on the backside of the pieces that are not visible when the puzzle is intact.

One of the stick figure pieces has some blemish around its eyes. Please review all photos as they will encompass the description including measurements. Be advised that this is a vintage item and there may be natural wear and tear based on the age.
